Statistics: Russia’s car output rises by 33% on year in April

MOSCOW, May 31 (PRIME) -- Russia’s car output rose by 33% on the year but fell by 18.8% on the month to 26,400 vehicles in April, the Federal State Statistics service said on Wednesday.

The production of trucks increased by 15.1% on the year and shrank by 6.2% on the month to 14,200 in the month.

In January–April, the car output fell by 57.2% on the year to 113,000 and the truck production by 10% on the year to 47,600.
